French Fridays with Dorie: M. Jacques Armagnac Chicken

Hello!!! This is my first recipe with FFwD and I am so excited! The chicken turned out wonderful and the smells coming from the kitchen.... oh, my, I was drooling! I really enjoyed this recipe, the prep work was fast and easy (my kind of meal) and my husband enjoyed it too!

Before Chicken (totally forgot the bay leaf)

Just before roasting

Yum!!!

  3. Welcome to FFWD. Tricia and I have been here since October 2010 and we love the
fun of cooking and posting each week. This week's chicken was a simple recipe, but
so good. Your results look fantastic.

  5. Welcome- this is such a fun community ! Nana and I just joined the new "Tuesdays with Dorie" baking blog as well. Well, new to us as they finished their first book and are ramping up on a new one for baking which will start in Feb. I was scared of the temptation of "excess cake" but we are going to switch off and only do one week each(rather then when we both do the FF recipe). My family LOVES what they call "Dorie Food"...although my boys esp have a penchant for adding Old Bay (like in your house) to what ever is not moving....:)

    1. Males and Old Bay... I just don't really get it! I joined the TwD too! I hear you about the baking recipes, just reading through the book, I am getting a little nervous about some of them. I am really excited to do both groups, I think it will be so much fun!
