New Years Resolutions

I made several New Year's Resolutions this year. The first is to finally lose the baby weight (this is a joint goal with my husband also) and get back into shape, it will take hard work and perseverance, but I have faith and believe it will happen! I am also planning on doing this while expanding my cooking repertoire. It will not only help when I am running after my almost 2 year old, but also in my career, the fire service is nothing if not physically demanding.

The second is to not feel like I have to do everything all the time; at work and at home. This one will be challenging (maybe even more than the weight), but it will be well worth it. Giving myself a break and just enjoying parts of the day, even just 5 minutes, will help me be more productive in everything.

The third is to finally get together with my best girlfriends for our girl's weekend! It has been too long and we really need to have some girl time and catch up on everything that has happened in our lives the past couple of years (preferably over some wine)!
