It is Sunday, hope to watch some football later, very happy that the Hokies won yesterday!!!! I have been very culinary this week; Wednesday I made apple pie muffins (amazing) and roasted cauliflower soup (OK, but I might look for another recipe, it has too much or not enough of something), Thursday was chocolate chip cookies for my little angel's preschool, Friday I made my husband's family recipe cheesecake (absolutely amazing), and Saturday I made a pumpkin cheesecake (Paula Dean's recipe, just sinful, can't stop eating it) and roasted chickpeas (from www.whatsgabycooking.com, sooooo good). Today I will probably make the roasted chickpeas again, so I have a snack for football! It has been a good baking week!
I am not sure what I will be making next week, but I have some broccoli and cauliflower to use up, maybe try another soup. Also have some squash and mushroom, believe they will go to risotto one day for lunch, and I have some chicken breast thawing out for a good faux fried chicken recipe from http://www.thepioneerwomencooks.com . The fall weather is really hitting me, I love it, all I want to do is walk around outside and enjoy the beautiful crisp air!
