Wow! This was so good, probably my husband's favorite so far and one of my top 3! I loved the dough (so many ideas for it), the sweetness really complimented the saltiness of the prosciutto. I also added artichoke hearts which really was yummy! Pretty quick to make (totally used a 9 inch cake pan by mistake!), I really embraced the rustic part with the lattice, not the prettiest, but worked well. We paired the pizza rustica with a simple spinach salad and called it dinner.

Wow, I like your wide lattice strips--looks great! I used the same kind of pan you did and it was fine.
ReplyDeleteI agree -the wide lattice strips almost look like a basket weave. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteLove the way your pie came out! Looks so pretty! So glad you all enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteYour lattice looks great. And, thanks for the tip about artichokes for next time.
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE your wide lattice...just beautifully done!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely pie. I also love your wide lattice. Artichokes sound like a nice addition. What did you think of the sweet/savory contrast? I found it odd, but still tasty.
